LAUGHING WITH LEANNE!

For this month’s Discover Program activity, we’re partnering with University of Wisconsin – Platteville and Leanne Soppe to provide “Laughing with Leanne”, an inclusive virtual event with fun activities designed to make new friends!
Leanne is a Senior studying Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and will be leading each event. Click here to meet Leanne!

Thursday, 4/22: Yoga Night
Thursday, 4/29: Dance Off
Tuesday, 5/4: Scavenger Hunt
Thursday, 5/6: Talent Show
Thursday, 5/13: Pajama Party
This opportunity is made available to children who have physical or developmental special needs and their immediate family members. Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin Announces New Board Members

Jon Kahle, of Elm Grove is the Athletic Director at Brookfield Academy, where he also teaches History and serves as the Head Football Coach. “I am passionate about helping children and want to give back to Variety as a family who has benefitted from their support.”
Also joining the board is businessman Jamie O’Donoghue, from Wauwatosa. O’Donoghue operates O’Donoghue’s Irish Pub in Elm Grove. He supports several causes through his business and is heavily involved in many charities in the Greater Metro area as a volunteer and fundraiser.
Both gentlemen join the board for an initial 3-year term. The board is led by President Lois Trongard, resident of Pewaukee and State Business Manager for Bryant and Stratton College.
