Greg Essig owner of Western Lakes Golf Club has made such a difference and a huge impact at Variety, by not only carrying out our mission on a day to day basis but he has positively impacted our organization. His skills, knowledge, passion, and willingness to help others and dedication to Variety and our community is the reason why we are so honored to have him as part of Variety for more than 20 years.

Wyatt is an 11-year-old tween who loves to hang out with his friends and twin brother. He very much wants to feel included and to be able to ride bikes with them. However, his inability to balance on a standard two-wheel bike keeps him from feeling like he belongs. As he is getting older, he is starting to get self-conscious and realizing that he is different because of his physical limitations due to cerebral palsy. He wanted a bike that he could easily steer and grip. With the help of friends like YOU, Variety provided an adaptive bike that Wyatt can ride independently. His mom no longer needs to run beside him to keep him safe, giving him the independence he craves. The bike is a game changer!
