Variety – the Children’s Charity celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2018. This is 90 years of dedicated commitment to delivering on its promise to serve the needs of millions of disadvantaged children around the world.
Nancy Major, CEO of Variety – The Children’s Charity, Wisconsin Chapter, said, “Variety has its roots in the entertainment industry, but its heart is the community. People from all walks of life, organizations, corporations and foundations contribute through Variety and experience the joy of helping a child, confident that their generosity has real impact and results in markedly improving a child’s future and making the world a better place.”
“Variety’s longer-term planning is already focusing on its 100th anniversary in 2028 with a vision for substantial growth around the world, aiming to almost double the number of disadvantaged children it reaches out to every year,” continued Major.
Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin’s mission is “Improving the lives of at-risk, disadvantaged, critically ill or special needs children, regardless of ability to pay.” Variety believes that ALL children deserve the opportunity to pursue a limitless future and works to inspire children to discover life without limits. The state-wide organization is headquartered in Elm Grove, Wis.
